What makes coal nonrenewable resource

    Coal is a non-renewable resource because it takes millions of years to form. Once you dig it out of the ground and use it, it is no longer coal. Once you find, dig up and use the last of it, coal will be gone for the purposes of human use.

    It takes 1000's of years to form and if we run out of it it'll be a while before we get more
