If the oak trees died, what would happen to caterpillars, blue jays, and hawks

    If the oaks trees died, the whole ecosystem will be effected since the oak trees are the producers, the caterpillars population would decrease to the lack of food, causing the birds, the blue jays and hawks, will have to fins a different food source.
