What's the difference between haploids and diploids

    There are two main types of cells in the body which are the Haploid cells and diploid cells. These two cells are different based on the number chromosomes that the cell contains.

    The differences between haploid and diploid cells

    haploid cells contains only one set of complete chromosome (n) while Diploid cell contains two set of complete chromosome (2n). haploid cells reproduce by meiosis while diploid cells reproduce by mitosis. haploid cell have 23 chromosomes, while diploid cells have 46 chromosomes.
