Bond of products are stronger and stable and higher energy is required to break them

    Explanation:

The first thing that can be concluded from the given set of information is that the cellular respiration is an exothermic bio chemical reaction. It is exothermic because the bond of the product formed in this reaction are much stronger and stable than the bonds of the reacting components and hence it is difficult to break the C=O and O-H bonds in the products. Also, if we do a bond energy calculation for both the reactant and product we will find that the on reactant side the total bond energy is the sum of bond energy of glucose and oxygen molecule which is equal to 2878 kcal/mole while the total bond energy on product side is equal to the sum of bond energy of six CO2 molecule and 6 H2O molecule is equal to 3564 kcal/mole.
