    Psychology is a discipline that studies the mental processes and states. It studies what affects the mind in different situations and problems.

    Sub-fields of psychology: There are many sub-fields of psychology. Some of these include social psychology, cultural psychology, educational psychology, health psychology, environmental psychology, forensic psychology, developmental psychology and cognitive psychology etc. The impact of culture on psychology: Culture influences psychological processes. The culture, beliefs, thoughts and actions all have an impact on how the mind works and processes different situations. Cultural norms impact the thoughts of an individual and thereby the psychology of an individual.
