People with anemia have a lower-than-normal level of red blood cells (RBC's) in their blood. It can cause headaches, weakness, fatigue, and many other symptoms. It can also lead to long-term health problems if not treated. This leads to iron deficiency anemia secondary to inadequate dietary iron intake.
