    Explanation:

    The ammonia in a cell at its pH exists in the form of ammonium ions which if present in excess can cause coma. So, ammonium ions have to be transported to either liver or kidney where they are utilized to form urea and excreted out respectively.

    The ammonia from muscle cells is transferred via a process called glucose-alanine cycle which transports the ions in the form of alanine which is formed by the conversion of pyruvate to alanine via transaminase reaction.
