Although the number of bacteria is more in soil but the biomass of fungi will be more than the biomass of bacteria because they are eukaryotes.

The size of fungus is more than the size of bacteria as whether fungi is unicellular or multicellular they are eukaryotes.

Even if their number is less their size is large and bacteria are small as compared to fungus so their biomass is less than fungus.
