What advantages do radio telescopes on earth have over visible light telescopes on earth?

Radio waves aren't covered up by clouds and are not affected by the Earth's atmosphere, thus radio telescopes can receive signals during cloud blockage. The exception being strong winds which affect the big dish and thunderstorms due to interference.
