    The major function of brain is memory and intelligence which makes the human higher animal in the animal kingdom. It performs in hypothalamus and hippocampus of the brain.

    The brain is considered the master organ of the human body. The developing brain is one evidence of human evolution. The brain deals with memory and interpretation of different things in our day to day life. It is like the CPU of the computer. The brain connects with different afferent and efferent neurons. These neurons carry information and brain works according to the information. The brain not only controls the nervous system, but it also controls the endocrine function of the body. This makes an information network all over the body. Different parts of the brain perform a different function. The hunger, thirst, temperature and endocrine functions deal with the hypothalamus. The cerebellum and brain stem concerns with sleeping and body balance. The hypothalamus also regulates the endocrine secretion. All the major functions occur in the brain for which makes the human intelligent animal in the animal kingdom.
