Answer: If you remove a pituitary gland you can survive but have many health problems, you will live but not for long.

Explanation: Pituitary gland is located in the brain and often referred to as the master gland, it is in charge of the whole endocrine system that sends chemical messages from the brain to the whole body vice-versa, regulating the secretion of hormones and chemicals by stimulating other glands. These hormones such as prolactin, follicle-stimulating hormones, thyroid-stimulating hormones are needed for growth, functioning and tissue repairs. Without the pituitary gland, muscles and bones will not grow, stress, water balance and metabolism will not be regulated, therefore you can live, since it does not control the respiratory system, but to a certain extent.
