    The given statement is FALSE.

The enzymes are the bio-catalysts, they are a type of protein molecule. The molecules, which bind to the enzymes are known as the substrates. The enzymes and the substrates are specific one another.

The binding of the enzyme and the substrate is dependent on the shape of the substrate binding site of the enzyme. Any change in the shape of the enzyme causes the declination in the enzyme activity, due to non binding of the substrate.
