People with peptic ulcers feel a burning pain during digestion because the bacteria thrive in the mucus layer of the stomach and weaken it. The cells in the stomach lining don't secrete enough mucus to combat the acidic effects of gastric juices. The acid gets through the lining, leading to inflammation and pain.

Peptic ulcer is a sore in the esophagus, stomach, and small intestine.

Symptoms of peptic ulcler include pain in the stomach, nausea, weight loss, and not wanting to eat.

    These symptoms would occur because:

-If there's a sore in your stomach, it would be painful.

-The pain in your body would cause you to be nauseous and vomit.

-You wouldn't want to eat because of the pain, you would also lose weight.
