Answer: C. large species of herbivores died out because of over hunting

A hunter gatherer is a primitive human society, which used to gather food from wild plants and animals. Agriculture and domestication were not in practice. The strategies used by hunters and gatherers involves the trapping of the big game animal or small game animal, fishing by creating a group, utilizing wild plant food sources such as fruit, tubers, vegetables, nuts and seeds. These strategies were combined to obtain a balance diet.

    C. large species of herbivores died out because of over hunting is the correct option because herbivores were less aggressive and incompetent which could be easily captured and trapped by the group of gatherers. This could have limited a large population of herbivores during the early human life.
