    Viroids are single-stranded RNA particles

    Explanation:

    Viroids are acellular particles of small circular single-stranded RNA, doesn't have its genomic material in a capsule. This RNA don't codify proteins, they only replicate autonomously. Viroids can't reproduce of their own, they must need host cells for its reproduction. Most of them are infectious particles causing damage to cultivated plants making an important impact on agriculture.
