How is an organisms success determined by its environment?

Physical factors in environment such as air, light, heat, and water determine success on an organism because those factors in the environment are mandatory for any living organism. If an organism requires one of these factors and it is provided with it, it will most likely live. Without whatever factor in needs in its environment, it will most likely struggle it even die.

Success is measured by the ability to adapt to the environment they live in.
