When proteins are actually made, what is the name of that process?

Translation process is the name of the protein synthesis. As, there are basically two steps for making the protein that are translation and the second one is transcription.

The type of the RNA that contain the information for making the protein are known as messenger as it carries the message from DNA into the cytoplasm by the process of translation and that message or information are used for making the protein.
