    Glomerular filtrate or nephric filtrate is a fluid which filters through the glomerulus of the nephron. Glomerular filtrate is same as blood plasma without the proteins. Since glomerular filtrate contains glucose, amino acids, and various salts which are not the part of the urine, are need to be reabsorbed into the bloodstream through the tubules of the nephron. Reabsorption of glucose 100%, amino acid 100% and sodium 70% take place in the proximal convoluted tubule.
