What do interneurons do?

a. Collect information from environment

b. Contract muscles

c. process information

d. a and b

e. b and c

I know they process information as a middle man, but technically do they contract muscles then too?

    Interneurons are sensory Afferent neurons. Specialized to detect stimuli and transmit information about them to the Central Nervous System. So i would go with A and B
