The dewlaps will become light colored (provide contrast to the dark or heavy forests).

    Explanation:

Anoles are the small-sized lizards which are considered the reptiles and these reptiles have a hanging colored skin from the throat called the dewlaps.

The dewlaps occur in many different colors and size depending on the species which is used for showing either aggressiveness or to attract the female partners.

If an anole with dark dewlap will colonize the densely forested area then the dark color of the dewlap will not be favored by the dark environment of the forest and the will lead to decrease in the darkness of the dewlap and will become lighter colored which could be easily visible.

Thus, natural selection will favor light color of dewlap.
