    Extreme high temperatures can cause an enzyme to lose its shape (denature) and stop working. the changing of the pH outside of the enzyme's range will slow the activity of the enzyme. if it's not extreme high or low temperatures, then raising the temperature, slightly, can speed up a reaction. Lowering the temperature, slightly, slows down a reaction
