Why does the gamete we are placing on

our punnett square have two different

letters?

Because we are crossing two traits,

therefore need two alleles.

~

Because it's a gamete, it will have half the

genetic information of the parent (1

allele) and because it's a dihybrid cross,

there is one allele for each trait.
