How does water from the atmosphere return to the earth surface

    After evaporation, water is stored in the clouds for a period of time, eventually condensing and forming those grey clouds full of water that we see, and then it returns to the earths surface in the form of precipitation, more commonly known as rain, but it can also be in other forms too, such as hail, sleet, or snow.
