    Explanation:

Protein synthesis is a biological process in which cells in the body produce new proteins. This process involve transcription and translation.

Transcription is the process where genetic instructions from DNA are transmitted to the mRNA in the nucleus. A strand of mRNA complement DNA. It involves three stages initiation, enlongation and termination.

Translation is the process genetic instructions is read to produce protein. After mRNA leaves the nucleus, it moves to a ribosome, which consists of rRNA and proteins. These proteins are made for hair and nails memberane.
