Gene pool consist of all the gene in an entire population while an allele frequency is how often an allele occur in the population.

Allele and gene frequency are often affected by Evolution. We have tgw micro and macroevolution. The microevolution involves the changes that occur in an allele or gene frequency from generation to generation while the macroevolution are accumulated changes that takes years to occur. Due to evolution, as new zygotes are formed some allele are lost due to selection, some are been drifted away by genetic drift, some still reoccur and new species also occur after years of accumulated changes. The greatest force of changes in gene pool as zygotes are been formed is evolution.
