Explain, in terms of pressure, why a camel is better at crossing a desert

than a horse. Camels and horses have a similar mass and the weight

bearing part of a horse's hoof can be assumed to be approximately

180 cm2.

    Answer: camels are better than horses in desert as camels are adapted to the hot and humid climate and camels can store fats in his humps
