Eric has made a terrarium, a closed container with plants in it, and he has put

enough water into it to satisfy the needs of the plants. Does Eric need to add

water to his terrarium again? Why or why not?

    Explanation:

    The water will be used by the plants sooner or later so their basic metabolic needs can be achieved. Also, the plants will loose their water by transpiration, in order to produce their carbohydrates. Therefore the amount of water will not be enough and has to be replenished.
