    The answer is B) cells gives rise to other cells.

    he added nutrient into flasks in experiment 1 and 2 and shaped the funnel as s shaped and heated it to sterilise it.

    in the first experiment he broke the funnel and found growth but not in second experiment. so this proves that some microbes came from air and leaded to growth of others and this disproved the theory of spontaneous generation.
