A scientist studies the DNA in corresponding genes of a platypus, a

beaver, and a duck. The DNA from which two species are most likely to be most

    platypus and a duck has similar DNA.

    Explanation:

    There are certain similarities which are present between duck and platypus such as structure of beak or mouth, webbed feet and laying eggs in order to continue its generation. These three characteristic make the platypus and duck similar to each other. There is also one major difference is present which is that the platypus is the only mammal which lay eggs and feed baby with their own milk. Its tail structure is also different from duck.
