if there are only two alleles for a gene in a population one dominant and one recessive what possible genotype could an organism have for this gene?

    When two genes are in a cell and one of the gene's phenotype is expressed and the other is not is called a heterozygous trait. The trait that is not expressed is the dominant allele gene.
