    Explanation:

    In case of a food chain, snakes eat rabbit and hawk eats snake. If a disease strikes the population of snakes then it is obvious that its population will decrease.

    If the population of snakes will decrease then the population of rabbits will increase as there will be no more snakes to eat rabbits.

    Along with this the population of hawks will decrease as there will be no food (snakes) for them to eat.
