How would you expect the spread of an airborne disease to be similar to and different from the spread of a foodborne disease

    Both ways of transmission involve a pathogen and a host. While the rate at which diseases transmitted person to person are spread is related to the number of people in a room, the rate at which foodborne diseases are spread is not related to how crowded the room is but to the number of people that eat the infected food.
