The homeostasis is an ability of an organism to maintain a stable internal environment. It includes mechanisms which control the internal conditions of the organism regardless the external conditions. For instance, these mechanisms regulate body temperature, water level, sugar level, etc. So if you get sick your body chooses to give you a fever to try to maintain homeostasis. Which basically is neutral health.
