In pea plants, Round is dominant to Wrinkled and Yellow is dominant to green. If two pea plants that are both heterozygous for both traits are crossed, what is the chance (out of 16) of an offspring that is homozygous round and homozygous green?

    4 out of 16 of the offspring will be both homozygous round and homozygous green.

    S - Round

    s - Wrinkled

    C - Yellow

    c - Green

    both parents plants are SsCc

    c Sc sc

    16/4=4

    4x1=4
