Non-example of mitosis may include the cell which divides through meiotic division.

In Meiosis, parent cell divides to produce four daughter cells. Each daughter cell has half the number of chromosome of the parent cell.

For example, in human beings, it takes place in germ cells which lead to the production of haploid gamete (ova in females and sperm in males) from a diploid parent germ cell.
