    Explanation:

    The earth's core is made up of molten magma formed of molten elements. Being liquid, the earth's core rotates much faster than that of the earth's crust. This leads to differences of pressure inside the earth's crust, leading to displacements of big chunks of continental plates. Thus the continents drift and interactions with the neighbouring one results in either of the three types of continental margins - convergent, divergent, or sliding.
