Explain how glucose and the mitochondria are related.

The mitochondria is the power house of the cell, glucose is energy, which the mitochondria uses to keep the rest of the cell alive. There's a whole process of ATP distribution, though, this is a minimalistic answer, as I don't know if you need that as well.
