Plastic is a non-porous surface and usually powder technique is used identify the latent prints on all non-porous surface. The Magna brush technique is used. In this methodology, the powder is spread over the surface and is evenly spread over the surface with a brush. In some recent technologies, the powder is spread though magnetic force. For ensuring better visibility, the colour of the powder must be contrasting to the colour of the surface.
