Option B, Coal is easy to obtain with minimal environmental damage.

    a) Air pollution - Coal mining produces lot of coal dust which not only pollute the environment but is also injurious to health.

    b) Water Pollution - The runoff from coal stock piles on mining sites during rainy season pollute the near by water bodies

    c) Loss of Flora and fauna - Flora of coal mining region is cleared for extraction activities which causes loss of habitat and hence disturbs the ecosystem.
