Why is Pluto no longer considered a planet? It is not large enough to be a planet. Pluto does not orbit the sun as originally thought. It does not orbit in an area clear of other celestial bodies. It is too far away from the sun to be part of our solar system.

it would be A. It is not large enough

    Explanation:

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a dwarf planet because it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Essentially Pluto meets all the criteria except one-it "has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects."
