The type II diabetes mellitus can be characterized by the high levels of blood glucose. It is a chronic metabolic disorder which is caused by the development of insulin resistance in the body of a person. The glucose levels could not be decreased from blood because the cells does not accept the glucose from blood.

The insulin is secreted by the pancreas. Hence, there is most likely to be an abnormality with the pancreas of Ron.
