A student states that earthquakes cannot occur at the center of a tectonic plate's surface-earthquakes occur only at tectonic plate boundaries. What is wrong with this statement

    a earthquake happens when the plate rub together therefor causing the loud and very very hard vibrations trust me i live in Los Angeles they are no fun at all
