What does crossing over have to do with traits inherited by offspring in relation to the traits that their parents have?

    Crossing over is traits givin to the child. They inherit those traits from the parents. You can think crossing over as a hand me down. Say your mom is hot headed but your father is calm a lot. But you are more of a hot head. That is because the cross over genes gave you the hot headed trait.
