Fleas, ticks, and tapeworms are common animal parasites, organisms that obtain nutrients by living in or on other organisms and feeding on their tissues. How does the idea of trophic level apply to these animals?

    Fleas, ticks, and tapeworms are common animal parasites, organisms that obtain nutrients by living in or on other organisms and feeding on their tissues. How does the idea of trophic level apply to these animals?

    The above examples are parasitic organisms that feeds on their host, the trophic level describes the feeding pattern of each organism as fleas feeds on blood of another animal likewise ticks feeds on blood of dogs or their host and tapeworm also derives nutrients from their host (human)
