Gravity on Earth is 9.780327 m/s^2 while on the moon it is 1.622 m/s^2. So therefor 1 kilogram on earth is 9.8 newtons and 1 kilogram on the moon would be 1.6 newtons. So your weight can vary on different planets but the mass stays the same because (gravity).
