Hummingbirds are small birds that have the ability to hover in the air. In some areas the main predator of the hummingbird is the

praying mantis. One year, a warm winter led to an extremely high number of the insects, and the birds responded by moving to an

area where there are fewer of the insects. This is an example of

change for change's sake
