    Answer: The visual information in the body is received and processed by certain pathway and this pathway consists of a series of cells and synapses that carries visual information from the outside environment and carries it to the brain for processing. It consists of the following pathway the retina, optic nerve, optic chaism, optic tract, (LGN) lateral geniculate nucleus, optic radiations, and striate cortex.

    This is the pathway by which the visual information is received and processed by the eyes.
