    Leukocytes or commonly known as white blood cells.

    Explanation:

    Pus is yellowish white thick fluid matter which is composed of degenerating leukocytes (white blood cells), tissue debris and dead or live micro organisms such as bacteria.

    It is caused by the invasion of the infectious microbes in the body. Microorganism such as bacteria and fungi generally causes pus with inflammation. Natural immunity system sends macrophages and neutrophils to fight with infection.
