    Viruses are living organisms when they infect a body. Depending on a lysogenic or lytic life cycle, the virus spreads through a body. Lytic life cycle means that the virus will basically force the host cell to create replicas of the virus by implanting its DNA into the nucleus. A lysogenic life cycle means that the virus can hide in the host cell for a long period of time by implanting itself into the DNA of the host cell and when that cell divides, it takes the virus with it. Overall, the lytic cycle is the fastest and most dangerous method of reproduction of a virus, although the lysogenic cycle lasts for much longer.
