In the US, we learn health (ED) which is a great advocate to wait or to use protection. In Africa, most schools do not teach this as widespread as the us does.

In the US we have birth control, contraceptives, and other methods to prevent pregnancy. In Africa they do not use or believe in contraception or birth control. These are not apart of their culture.

The US is rapidly advancing in women empowerment and in the #metoo movement everyday. In Africa it is believed that woman are not equal to men and the unequality can lead to assualt (unprotected).

b) People in US prefer to have sex with protection and hence they do not reproduce every time they have sex while in African countries sex is performed without protection and hence there are high chances of reproducing.
